A cornerstone of CARE. Preschool age is the crucial stage of emotional development. During these ages children learn to manage and express their emotions effectively. For this reason care underpins our teacher student and teacher parent relations and is also championed amongst student to student interactions.

On the social development front, the literature reveals that the child starts enjoying the company of other children by the age of three and in the process he/ she learns to adapt to the environment in which he/ she has to live and function. Knowledge, attitude and proper social conduct imbibed by children at this age tend to alter their outlook and behaviour in the future and prepare the child to become a worthy and useful citizen of the country.
Additionally activities given at home and in a child’s immediate environment foster sensory development which in turn establishes the pathway for neurons in the brain during the ages 0-6. For this reason, the home is the main education centre and effective partnerships with parents/guardians play a critical role to support holistic development of the child.

Christian Principles
All religions are welcomed at Serenity Prep. It is however important to note that students will be exposed to Christian values and principles aligned with faith and morality. Practices and beliefs divergent to these tenets are not included in our curriculum.
